Battle Beast - Premiere New Song

Here are some new tunes for you courtesy of Finnish metallers Battle Beast. They will release their third studio album, Unholy Savior, on January 9th, 2015 in Europe and January 27th in the U.S. through Nuclear Blast. Today, the group released a lyric video for the new song "Touch In The Night", which can be seen below.

Bass player Eero Sipilä comments: "'Touch In The Night' is probably the farthest away from typical Battle Beast sound we've ever went. It really sums it up, that in the pre-production phrase went under the nickname 'Alphaville'. If Judas Priest covered 'Big In Japan', I believe this is where they would end up. True metal fans hold on to your hats - there'll be more blast beats for you later!"

Since when are ABBA signed to Nuclear Blast?

If it weren't for your funny comment I wouldn't have listened. At least ABBA were relevant to their time, had great lyrics (for the sadder songs), which became classics, and didn't pretend to have "guitars" in their sound.

Well, that was incredibly flaccid...

It's not like the whole "80's pop meets metal" stuff can't be done successfully; Heavenly hit it out of the park with When The Rain Begins To Fall. This is so bad it isn't even funny, sorry guize.

When you go under the name of 'Alphaville' you ought to expect some 'Alphaville'. Then again, this song ain't that impressive, but not overral bad after all. Seen worse. But for a band that released straightfoward Priest influenced metal... this will surely be holding back the album. Hope that this is the only song they will do in the new wave fashion...
