Norwegian black metal outfit Cor Scorpii have released a short update about their upcoming album, preliminary titled Ruin. The message was released via the band's Facebook page. The follow-up to 2008's Monument is finally coming together after the band did some changes. However, they promise it will be worth the wait.

Here is their latest update: "The shit is coming together! Here's a little studio update. Almost all lead, rhythm and bass guitar is now finished! At the time we are working with some small changes/improvements that didn't work out the way we wanted, but we promise you, it will be worth the wait. Main focus further will be vocal and synth! Here's a tiny teaser of what's to come, and some pictures from Top Room studio where we recorded drums this summer. Enjoy and please share!"

Cor Scorpii will also perform at Karmøygeddon Metal Festival 2015 in Norway.
