Meh, it sounds decent at best. Fernando's "screaming" vocals sound pretty silly. I never liked them. I hope he doesn't uses those a lot on this album.

These song posseses one of those melodies that instantly caught my attention. And also a strong edgy and dark vibe, what I missed in The Last Of Us. My faith in Extinct is restored!

Cool blend of heavy riffing, catchy gothic vox and epic sympho backing tracks, haven't listened to them since Night Eternal but may have to check out this album.

Written by AngelofDeth on 02.02.2015 at 22:04  I like the guy a lot, but those vocals? Nope, they don't work at all and sound pretty bad indeed. His clean vocals are amazing though. Not sure why he or anyone else thinks his "screams" are good, but ever since Memorial he used them I think. Not on Omega White though, which is one of the reasons I like it a lot more than most recent Moonspell albums. It's a bit more similar to their less heavy albums such as Sin/Pecado.

Extinct is clearly much better than The Last Of Us, it at least has some catchy moments whereas the other only reminds me of Avril Lavigne. I hate Lavigne.

It sounds more aggressive and diverse than The Last of Us, which was a gothic rock song. I rather like it, and it gives me a hope that the album as a whole is going to be great.
