Tribulation - Debut New Track, New Album Artwork

Today is a big day for Tribulation fans because the band has just premiered the first track taken from The Children Of The Night. But not only that, the Swedish death/black metallers have also unveiled the cover of the record which was painted by guitarist Jonathan Hultén, who created the band's previous album covers. As for the new tune, it is called "In The Dreams Of The Dead" and you can hear it here. Did it match your expectations?

Guitarist Adam Zaars said of the album: "The Children Of The Night takes off where The Formulas Of Death ended. And if the latter was dark the former is pitch black, though the album ranges from murky forests to the brightest city lights. It is a celebration of the divine spirit and our ability to tread liminal space and the changes that inevitably come with that, a hopefully subversive piece of art. The album takes Tribulation's path towards the unknown even further and we are treading in uncharted territory... join us!"

Due out on April 20th in Europe and April 21st in North America via Century Media Records, the opus The Children Of The Night was recorded, mixed and produced by Ola Ersfjord in several different Swedish studio locations (Studio Gröndahl, Honk Palace, Studio Cobra, Necromantic Studios and The Resting Stone) from December 2014 to January 2015 and mastered by Chris Common at Twin Hills Mastering in El Paso, Texas.

Nice artwork. I recognise that movie (old french one about vampires, duh). I always wanted to see it but never got around to.
Anyways, I liked the track! It wasn't WOAH but it was great and what I expect from these guys. So glad I queued this shit.

Yep it's from the 1915 classic Les vampires by Louis Feuillade. The woman on the picture is Musidora, a famous early XXth century French actress. The movie is up on youtube if you're interested

Cool artwork indeed. The song is not on par though. Okayish but nothing to be amazed of.

Sounds like a dynamic "Reinkaos". Dunno if that's a compliment?!
