Amon Amarth - Drummer Out Of The Band
Amon Amarth don't usually go through many line-up changes, at least not in recent years. But today the melodeath band has some surprising news to share. Their long-time drummer Fredrik Andersson is out of the band. They have decided to part ways after 17 years. Why did he leave? Amon Amarth didn't say much, only that they are writing new material and they haven't found a replacement yet. It seems that they are keeping the matter private.
Amon Amarth released this brief statement about it: "Fredrik has been an important part of Amon Amarth's development since he joined the band in 1998 and we wish him all the best for the future. We are currently in the process of writing the new album, but at the moment there is no replacement for him."
So, the new Amon Amarth album can bring a new drummer to the band or maybe a former drummer will return. We will keep you posted.
