Lamb Of God - New Album, New Label And New Song Online

Today is a big day for Lamb Of God. The American thrashers started the day with a bang and just announced their new label, new album and a new song to go with it. Go big or go home! Their new label is Nuclear Blast Entertainment, in case you are wondering. They will release their anticipated seventh full-length album, VII: Sturm Und Drang, this July via Nuclear Blast Entertainment with whom the band signed a record deal for all territories outside of North America. After several hints, the band is unleashing the brand new track today "Still Echoes" via their website. You can stream the track there. How do you like this new track?

This first single, 'Still Echoes', will be available via digital retailers and streaming services beginning Monday, May 18th.

Album cover

Lamb Of God drummer Chris Adler said: "Finally joining forces with Nuclear Blast Entertainment outside of North America is something Lamb Of God is excited to finally see happen. We first met back in 1997 - almost signed then, but have been flirting ever since! It's now time for a new chapter for us to connecting with our friends and fans overseas, which is long overdue! See you all very soon - with a nasty new album!"

Frontman Randy Blythe states: "The time has come to give the fans their first taste of the new Lamb Of God album. This is a very, very dark, yet sonically highly varied, record. As it's always good to come out of the gate hard with a fast and aggressive one, we chose this track 'Still Echoes' to kick it off. Enjoy/destroy."

VII: Sturm Und Drang (as various CD and vinyl editions, also as exclusive bundle versions) is available for pre-order now here. It is once again produced and mixed by Josh Wilbur with engineering by Wilbur, Nick Rowe, and Kyle McAulay, and was recorded at NRG Recording Studios in North Hollywood, CA and Suburban Soul Studios in Torrance, CA.

Intriguing name and artwork, wondering if there might be a slight style change, which wouldn't necessarily go amiss

I like the new song quite a but, 8 out of 10 for me. Sounds like it should be on Wrath. I love Wrath. Actually I love all LOG albums. I will be looking forward to this release.,

Bad album cover.
The track was ok, though not something special. Optimist I would categorize it.

Location doesn''t say a thing about one's nationality or where one was born.
