Great lineup but what's with the drama? Not about to go see a band that treats their members like furniture...

We all know drummers are not people, but objects to throw around.

If it's as the poster says, with Sólstafir headlining, I'll probably just see Mono and The Ocean. The rest of Sólstafir, especially Aðalbjörn, can fuck right off.

Edit: If the statement is fully true, that is.

Damn, too much drama around this band... if the story is true and the drummer is the victim in all this endeavor, I'm through with this band... I'll cherish their last 3 albums, but I will not dig further into their career. They can go fuck themselves if they build such a career by stepping on the labour of other people. There is shit that I can stand and somehow avoid, but when it comes to piss on the hard labour other people put into something, things change.

These guys never stop touring? With this it's 3 euro + 2 NA tours in less than a year....

Drummer's statement is fucked up. I hope we get a reply to get the other side of the story but they've been awfully quiet about this, which makes me think the rest of the band might be lousy cunts. Too bad.

I think what's serious is that the band isn't even letting fans know what is going on. At least they should say something, good or bad about it. It does seem like they are at fault.

That's also what I think. I will attend a concert on that tour anyway (they're just too good and so is the replacement drummer that they had earlier this year), but I'd like to know what's going on.

I actually missed them on their last tour in Lisbon. As a fan, I would feel bad if something like this happened to one of my fav bands. They should avoid the speculation and mess by releasing a statement. Fans are already saying that they are not going to the tour because of this. It's becoming messy.

Yes I saw it, that's not good then for any of them, nor for the fans. But too bad you missed them, they were really good Also that drummer then, Mr. Smith I think, played some of the best live drums I have seen yet. Just hope that the band won't break apart totally, and for that they should clear it up pretty damn soon.

That statement just made me sad.. I'm sure there's more behind everything but it's also really suspicious when they're not talking out loud about it. Lost the respect from the band
