HIM - Perform Surprise Show, Announce New Drummer

The Finnish band HIM set up a pleasant surprise for the audience of Qstock festival in Oulu, Finland with a secret performance. The festival had originally booked Ville Valo's solo project Rambo Rimbaud, but Valo and the rest of the band apparently decided otherwise and introduced their new drummer, Jukka "Kosmo" Kröger, on stage. Jukka previously played in the Finnish pop-rock group Herra Ylppö & Ihmiset.

This band hasn't released anything good since Dark Light. It's unfortunate, Ville used to be such a great songwriter, but he's run dry out of inspiration and his voice has gone to sh*t...

Dark Light wasn't as good as the first four, but still had some great moments IMO. But everything since then has been borderline non-listenable.

Disagree. Always felt VD was overrated as hell. People got horny from it because it was a return to the darker style, but the songwriting was zzzzzzzz.
