Attention Aussies. Megadeth have just announced an Australian tour taking place this October with special guests Children Of Bodom! Fan club pre-sale begins Friday, August 21st at 12 Noon local time. All tickets go on sale to the general public on Monday, August 24th at 10.00am. Megadeth are busy preparing a new album, which can be pre-ordered here, while Children Of Bodom's guitarist Alexi "Wildchild" Laiho recently went on stage in Helsinki with an army of 100 guitarists and presented a song he only wrote for that evening.

The tour dates are as follows:

October 16 - Perth - Red Hill Auditorium
October 18 - Sydney - Hordern Pavilion
October 19 - Melbourne - Festival Hall
October 21 - Brisbane - Eatons Hill
