Amaranthe - New Album Out Next Year

Amaranthe recently revealed that the band's new album will arrive in 2016. Singer Elize Ryd and guitarist/keyboardist Olof Mörck were interviewed by Louder Noise TV, where they confirmed the news. Their latest album, Massive Addictive, came out in 2014 and this year they also released Breaking Point - B-Sides 2011-2015. However, they are not showing signs of slowing down by no means. They are working on a new album and it is expected to be out next year.

Great news! I do hope it will be a little more energetic than Massive Addictive. With that said, all three of their albums have been great. I love their vocal harmonics.

Please let this be one where they start to deviate from the formula and experiment, please let this be the one, pretty please...

Why? To alienate their entire fanbase? They have a unique sound right now, no other band out there really sounds like them. Zero good that could come from them changing their style, so far as I'm concerned.

Looking forward to this. They vary their sound just enough to keep me interested but know exactly what kind of band they are.

I hope they go back to the high energy of The Nexus. Massive Addictive was great but it felt a bit slow at times.
