American atmospheric one man black metal act Utstøtt will stop being a solo effort. The band's mastermind Navnløs (real name Alex Rosenberg) has added his good friend Stormning to their ranks. Stormning will take over drums and guitar duties. Utstøtt is preparing a new album and the recordings will begin soon.

Navnløs writes: "After much deliberation, I have decided to expand Utstøtt. Stormning, a good friend, will become the second member of the project, taking up the roles of drummer and guitarist. I will still maintain the writing duties, as well as guitar, bass, and vocals. You can hear his drumming on the Taake cover recorded this past summer. I believe this addition will only improve the sound of Utstøtt further, and allow for maturation as time progresses. The new album is in the process of arrangement, with recording looming closer. An album title has been chosen, album art has been made, and a track listing has come to fruition. Expect an hour of music divided between five songs to emerge sometime in the future."
