Darkwater - Releasing New Album In 2016
The Swedes Darkwater have finally shared the news fans have been waiting to hear: they are releasing a new album this year! The progressive metallers have been in the scene since 2003 and released two albums so far, the groundbreaking Calling The Earth To Witness (2007) and its worthy follow-up, Where Stories End (2010). Six years later, the band will release their third album, at last.
The band confirmed the news on their latest update: "Happy New Year! This year has been filled with a lot of writing for the upcoming new album, but also a lot of waiting. For us as well as for you. And we want to thank you for hanging in there! 2016 will be the year when we release our next album."
This means Darkwater fans will have something to look forward to this year. Stay tuned!

Good grief... that's a very welcome surprise...
---- First gig was Manowar (loincloths 'n' all), Bristol Colston Hall in March 1983, on the 'Hail to England' tour. Tickets were £3.75, 300 in the audience, Mercyful Fate never showed, but my hearing still got seriously trashed..
