Migration Festival - Confirm Krallice, Thou, Vhöl, Fórn And More
Here is something interesting. There is a new festival in town and it's called Migration Festival. 20 Buck Spin and Gilead Media, two of underground metal's leading underdog record labels, will join forces in Summer 2016 to present the inaugural Migration Festival in Olympia, Washington. Jointly conceived by the two labels, the fest will primarily showcase bands from each label's roster, as well as select other affiliated and respected artists, highlighting the distinct and contrasting styles that makes each label stand out. The first bands have already been confirmed and it's off to a good start.
Set to take place at the historic Capitol Theater in downtown Olympia on August 12th, 13th, and 14th, the rich musical history of Washington's small capital city makes an ideal location to celebrate the work of two labels successfully operating outside the boundaries of the big city music business.
Bands already confirmed for the festival include: Auroch, The Body & Krieg collaborative performance, Christian Mistress, Dead To A Dying World, False, Fówrn, Full Of Hell, Khemmis, Kowloon Walled City, Krallice, Mutilation Rites, Nightfell, Obsequiae, Pale Chalice, Thou, Vastum, Vhöl, and Yellow Eyes. Approximately 6 additional bands, including some headliners, will be announced later.
Ticket information, including price and on-sale date, will be announced in the near future.
