Be'lakor - New Song Online
Australian melodic death metal band Be'lakor have released the first track of their upcoming long-awaited album, Vessels. You can listen to the 8-minute epic "An Ember's Arc" in the video below. Vessels will be released worldwide on June 24th via Napalm Records / MGM. For more details of the new album, click here. Did the track live up to your expectations?

Holy crap I can't wait for this album! This song should have been 10 minutes long IMO. I hope they don't run out of riffs for their other songs.

Hmm, I don't know about this. The intro had me going, but... Edit: Second listen and I've come to appreciate the new direction they've taken. It's certainly fresh, although this experimentation seems to have affected their melodic capability...certainly not as catchy as they are usually.

I sensed some progressive approach in some parts of this. It is not strongly "catchy"-oriented, but a slow-revealing structure with memorable heavy rhythms. Let's see how they re-created this (if so) all over the album.
