Yngwie Malmsteen - Announce New Album

Yngwie Malmsteen is setting the World On Fire! That is the title of the Swedish guitar virtuoso's new record to follow Spellbound (2012) at last. The record is expected in June. Malmsteen spent two years working on World On Fire and did all the lead vocals on it.

Great news!

And I see the blade fall down upon the head of lord in heaven
And Darkness falls upon the end of history
While I drink the milk of the Black Goddess and cry over the mankind

Black Moses is my name...

If there was a guy that should've ceased releasing a turd after another turd, Yngwie was. And from a long, Long, LONG time ago. Many bands recycle their on repertoire of songs, but none as bland as this goes does. Everything he released after that 1998 record who was just him playing classical pieces on his guitar was very crap. Doubt this record will be any different. Yngwie is a great guitar player. Way ahead of like 90% of guitar players. Problem is that he treats guitar playing like a sport and has little songwriting talent (except for the 80s period where he did indeed farted some good tunes).
