Septicflesh - Working On New Album

After a few months without news, symphonic tyrants Septicflesh announce today that their new album is in the works. In fact, the follow-up to Titan (2014) is coming out early next year via Season of Mist in Europe and Prosthetic Records in North America. Now fans can start anticipating their next release.

The Greeks state: "We are proud to announce that Septicflesh are in the middle of the writing process for the follow up to our latest album Titan. We will work with Swedish producer Jens Bogren at Fascination Street studios. Our new drummer Krimh will be appearing for the first time on a full recording. We can promise you a dark opus that will add new dimensions to the sound of Septicflesh."

In further news, Septicflesh are finally completing the reissuing of their back catalogue via Season of Mist with the re-release of their fifth full-length Revolution DNA (out August 5th).

I'm super hyped. Titan was very enjoyable but definitely a massive step down after how ridiculously good their three latest albums were. And by "massive step down", I mean that it was still a damn good album. As long as they don't stagnate on the sound they established with The Great Mass I have a new #1 album to look forward to.

Also Seth keeping his chin up as usual. Good old Septicflesh is still here.

I agree that Titan was not the best of their albums. I hope they do bring out something similar to Communion and The Great Mass (which has got to be my favorite album of all time.)

Sharing the same feeling : Titan is great but imho there's a bit too much of symphony here while The Great Mass had found the perfect balance. Even tho I don't want to have high expectations I cannot wait either to listen to something new from my favorite Greek band !

I agree with all of you. I didn't like Titan at all. Another album as good as TGM or Communion would be marvellous... hehe

I liked so much Titan. But I hope more balance in their musical proposal.
