The last couple albums already sounded like one giant song anyway so this really isn't all that revolutionary for their sound imo. Pretty much more of the same.

If you watched the trailer their guitarist was making a similar claim. They wanted to break the mold of making the same songs all around for this new record. I can't wait for this. Just pre ordered their Limited edition Digibook

I know the album is just one long song but will it be separated into different tracks?

If you just smashed all of One for Sorrow into a single track it already sounds as if one giant song though, so it feels like this album is already precedented despite claims from the band. So in my perspective this isn't 'breaking the mold' at all, it's reinforcing it.
I'd prefer them to start making memorable and diverse tracks again like off their first few albums rather than keep homogenizing their sound.

I get where you're coming from 100%. I just hope that it's not another casual Insomnium album. I want to see them deliver a home run if possible

I feel like Insomnium is the kind of band that really won't be able to pull a one-song 40 minute album off well. I just don't think they have the capability to keep things interesting that long. That being said, I can barely handle 5 minutes of Insomnium, whatever they do I'm sure some people will love it.
