Mastodon - Brent Hinds Breaks Leg, New Album Complete
Brent Hinds has broken his leg in a motorcycle accident, it has been revealed. The Mastodon guitarist/vocalist was about to play a few shows with his other band Giraffe Tongue Orchestra. Meanwhile, Mastodon are done with their new album, confirmed by Troy Sanders, which will be released next year. So, at least there's that!
Brent Hinds posted a photo of himself laying in bed with a cast on his right leg and the caption: "Broke my fucking leg starting my motorcycle goddamnit. Sorry to all the shows I was about to play with gto and west and more and fiend without a face. Life's a bitch then you die. Happy Thanking!"

Mastodon worked with producer Brendan O'Brien (Crack The Skye) in Atlanta on the album, before moving to Los Angeles for the mixing stage.

Lulz. Would be interesting to see what direction they take now as that they have dropped most of both their sludge and prog tendencies. Also let's see if its still a double album. P.S. - It should be a concept album ffs.
