I preferred the style of their Maximum Overload artwork to be honest... but musically if this album sounds like their last two releases then i'll be happy man.

It says something about the UK's power metal cred that our leading band in the genre:
-Owe their trademark sound to a Hong Konger.
-Had a South African frontman for 11 years.
-Currently has a Ukrainian keyboardist, French bassist and Italian drummer.

After Brexit, our scene's gonna be fucked.

UK is not famous at all for having good power metal. But 70's, 80's British metal was one of the best if not THE best...

Haha that looks as Dragonforce as ever. I was really into them back when Inhuman Rampage came out and pretty much got my fill then. Skipped their next two albums and listened to MO after my girlfriend told me it was good and damn, yes it was. It's not all gold but it's mostly very good if you can stomach their style. Symphony of the Night has to be my favorite song they've written. Looking forward to this.

And a Kiwi guitarist. Any poms there at all?

The Power Within is a great album too, if you liked MO then I can't recommend this one enough.

Guess they're finally done with dragons.
Except for Cyber Dragons, of course.

Totman's Kiwi?! Well that just makes my bloody point even more.
The current singer's homegrown (as far as I'm aware).

Yep, Totman's a Kiwi. Current vocalist apparently hails from Eynsham, so he is indeed a Pom.

"Power metal masters"

The 'd' somehow dropped out of the first word there.
