Hope that is not the mix.

Yeah most instruments are barely audible, the guitar is completely buried.. If it's the final then prepare your anus Jari

Well. It have some weird, atmoblack vibe that I like at this moment. Sounds a bit like Duskmourn. But as written above - if it's the final mix, then Jari should be banished or something, because it sounds HORRIBLE.

Watching him play guitar without any guitar sounds being produced is hilarious!

Checked out "Eternal Darkness" and it's just as crappy. Almost sounds like an under-produced symphonic black metal record from the 90's. "The Forest That Weeps" only seems better because there are less symphonic elements in that snippet...

Music-wise it may be good but the mix is probably the worst of all their records so far.

I hated the mix. The guitars can barely be heard.

Usually when money gets involved the quality of music decreases...i am sure this new album will be weaker than time

If this is the best they have to disclose as teaser, then this album doesn't look promising at all. It's not the mix but... where's the speed, where are the killer riffs and the solos, where are the multiple layers of other sounds?

Why don't you, all of his fans, give him another half a million so he can fix this?

I can totally see many people getting disappointed and Jaril writing a 10 page long whining on facebook on "how he couldn't finish writing" or "how he was not able to fulfill his musical potential".

Hahaha, so many angry metal hipsters on MS these days. The full song live sounds great. We'll see how the rest of the album is.

People here are expressing their opinions about the sound from the studio version, so how it sounds live makes no difference.

It's troubling. All of the song snippets from their documentary on the crowdfunding campaign sounded great. I was like "oh, I actually believe him when he says the mix is great." Now this comes out and sounds like trash. What in the fuck happened?

That's why I haven't listened to all the samples. You add them all up, there won't be any surprises when you finally get the album.

For sure. I was referring to the MIX of the album, though, not the music itself. I enjoy being surprised as well, but I was taken aback by how compressed the "final" mix sounds and how quiet the guitars are.
