Wow, this is very good.

For CoF this is like progressive music. Impressive. This might be even better than Hammer of the Witches.

Not bad for sure, yet I don't feel instant love either. I like how the guitars sound and the choir too. And yet some people will keep saying that CoF always do the same things.

Weird bald drummer? Check.
Band actions mixed with background story? Check.
Scream at the start? Check.
Edward Erlic? Check.
'Waving' hot keyboardist? Check.

The song itself is so-so - nothing special... production on the other hand is absolutely awful! too "digital" for my taste, reminds me of some "lady" metal bands like Nightwish. where is filth?

A step up from the singles released from Hammer, which were already great songs. Should be an even bigger improvement.

Very melodic, I like it indeed. It really looks as though the new members injected interesting elements to the band.

The last one was just perfect album, didn't expect they gonna to continue NOT TO SUCK.
Now I am really looking forward for the new album.

I like it. I never expected to say something like this for a CoF song.

As a long time COF fan i think i'ts a very cool song, great musicianship, awesome solos and chunky riffs, nice choirs and perfect drumming. Dani's voice is surprisingly still top notch (considering how demanding his vocal performances are). everything is on point. however i still get the same feeling from every song and album they've been putting out since Damnation and a Day: the atmospheres are just not as compelling as they used to be. I used to sink in stuff like Dusk.... and Cruelty.... for months at a time, reading the lyrics from the booklet while listening to the music (something that i still love doing), being absorbed by everything the album would give me. but these recent albums, as fair and decent as they might be, they simply don't pull me in like the older records (still) do. I dunno, maybe i just got old and cranky. I'll still buy it of course.

p.s. that artwork is terrible

It's not the music that has changed, it's you and your perception of it. You can't be amazed by the same band and its consecutive albums all the time. The charm and novelty of getting to know something new will always wear off.

I am surprised, I like this track a lot, probably the first I have liked since godspeed... Will definitely keep an eye out for when the album is released
