Dream Theater - Share 'Images And Words' Tour Documentary


Progressive metal titans Dream Theater are currently touring the world on the Images, Words & Beyond tour. Before they take the 25th Images And Words Anniversary Tour to North America in 2 weeks, the band has shared a mini tour documentary shot by Randy M. Salo of Freqstv while they were in Germany on the European leg of the tour earlier this year. Check it out below!




The upcoming North American run caps off a year-long celebration of their ground-breaking album, Images And Words. After a short break in early 2018, the band will return to the studio to begin work on a follow up to their most recent opus, The Astonishing.

In other news, the band recently revealed the cover of The Astonishing, the novel, builds on the story rendered in The Astonishing, the concept album by Dream Theater. The novel adds new plot lines and intrigue, additional characters and motivations, as well as explanations and ideas not explored on the album.

Peter Orullian is an award-nominated fantasy and science fiction writer, noted-among other things-for the powerful and lyrical way he weaves music into his stories. His work has appeared in a number of major anthologies, and his fantasy novel series is published by Tor Books.
