Svartsot - Part Ways With Bassist
Danish folk metal band Svartsot has issued an announcement about parting ways with the band's bassist, James Atkin. He will depart the band but continue to write and perform music with his other band Heidra.
He posted the following statement via Facebook: "Dear Facefolk. My name is James Atkin and I have been the bassist in Svartsot since the start of 2009. This facebook page has, almost entirely, been written and managed by me over the years and I wish to thank any and all of you who have followed us, supported us and joined in the various discussions. Sadly, I must announce that my time in the band has come to an end and with it my cuntributions to these pages. I shall still continue to write and perform music with Heidra. Fare ye well you awesome bastards."
