Metsatöll - Part Ways With Drummer
Marko Atso is no longer the drummer for Estonian metallers Metsatöll. It was announced today that there were disagreements between him and the other band members and soon a new drummer will join their ranks.
Metsatöll explained: "Dear Metsatöll fans and friends, we have news for you. Hereby we let you all know that Metsatöll will soon have a new drummer. We have finished cooperation with our longtime percussionist Marko Atso. Thank you, Marko, for the time you spent with us, we wish you success in your future life and projects! This move was inevitable - we became progressively more and more aware that we want to share our stage and our music with musicians of similar values. The disagreements in creativity and team relations lead nowhere. For the sake of all full moons, the wolfpack is moving forward to new challenges and albums!"

Well, Atso is now playing in Metro Luminal, who used to be a great "depressive rock" band in the late 90s, but whose latest single is just watered down boring industrial/alt rock. Not a step up in his career, I'd say.
