Verni - Streaming New Songs
Legendary Overkill bassist D.D. Verni launched solo project/band earlier this year, under the name Verni. Now, his self-titled band announce the release of their debut album, to be entitled Barricade. It will be out in stores on October 12th via Mighty Music. Additionally, the band also premiere couple of new tracks, ''Lost In The Underground'' and ''Fire Up", both available for streaming down below.
D.D. Verni comments on ''Lost In The Underground'' track: "So one more off Barricade. "Lost in the Underground was one of the first songs I had written for this, it's basically about the headspace of making a record and knowing how much time and work it will be, but being compelled to soldier forward and create anyway. Features a solo by Andre 'Virus' Karkos. Virus also did rhythm guitars on and the album and just killed it. Hopefully gets you guys primed for the full release!"

A bit reminds me Jason newsted solo project, boat bassists, boat are/were part of legendary 80's thrash acts, just other side of USA, hit the gass, open road... similar music, new and fresh winds in music, you can hear it whit 1th time you wanna play 20 times and dont get bored. Many modern music are so boring, well we have way to much, but you can see there are new diamonds here.
