Dødsferd - New Album Coming, First Single Revealed
Greek black metal heroes Dødsferd have come up with their new full-length album, titled Diseased Remnants Of A Dying World and set for release on December 14th through Transcending Obscurity Records. The first single, entitled "An Existence Without Purpose", is available for streaming below.
Diseased Remnants Of A Dying World was recorded, mixed and mastered at D-Studio Athens, Greece in 2017-2018 and produced by Dødsferd's mastermind Wrath and Michael Karpathiou. Drums were recorded at Esoteron Music Studio in the summer of 2017 by guest drummer George Dovolos. The album also features new guitarist Setesh who has replaced former guitar player Nadir. First time hearing them. Very nice. I'm not opposed to 'longer' songs, however, I'm not sure there are enough ideas here or that this song invokes enough atmosphere to keep me interested for 10 minutes.
