Pythia - Cancel HRH Vikings Appearance, New Album Coming

British symphonic metalheads Pythia have cancelled their performance at the HRH Vikings in Sheffield. Singer Sophie Dorman has laryngitis and needs to rest her voice. In other news, Pythia will have a new album out soon and this will be their first with Sophie. Former singer Emily Alice Ovenden, who left in 2015, was featured on all studio albums.

The band explained: "Unfortunately we have had to cancel our appearance at HRH Vikings this weekend as Sophie has been battling a nasty case of Laryngitis this week and her voice has not returned yet. We are naturally very disappointed as were really looking forward to the show, but doctors orders are that Sophie needs to rest her voice. The gods were not smiling on us this time. We shall do our best to get up to Sheffield for a show once the new album is out."
