Dream Theater - Release Second New Track 'Fall Into The Light'
Dream Theater have released another new song from their recently announced 14th studio album, Distance Over Time. "Fall Into The Light" is the second song available for streaming from this album, slated for worldwide release on February 22th, 2019. It also marks the first for the band's new label InsideOutMusic / Sony Music. Distance Over Time was produced by John Petrucci, mixed by Ben Grosse and mastered by Tom Baker. "'Fall Into The Light' is about the quest towards enlightenment that exists in life," explains bassist John Myung. "It is more about the underlying themes of life's journey and less about what happens once you get there. It is a song of introspection; about looking inside to find your individual happiness."

Like this one more than Untethered Angel (which I found pretty ok but nothing amazing). Still quite a similar feeling about the vocals though. They miss a bit of energy imo. Overall I'm pleasantly surprised by this song.

The riffs and time signatures in this song are sweet. Vocals are average and I pretty much like the whole song. Better than the first single.

Yeah, not bad at all. There are issues of course (including the vocals) but overall it's their best single in a long time.
