Sadistik Forest from Finland just informed their fans that the recording sessions for a new Transcending Obscurity Records release have finished and that producer Andreas "Jonsson" Westholm is now in Stockholm for the mixing process. Furthermore, the band's original guitarist Jarkko Lahtinen has returned as a permanent member to replace Matti Salo who has decided to leave in an amicable way.

The band commented: "During the last weekend or so, we were doing recordings for a future Transcending Obscurity Records release, with our new producer Andreas 'Jonsson' Westholm. All being now done with the recording itself, Andreas has returned to Stockholm to mix the project together. More details will follow later as things proceed. We will surely keep you posted.

"These previous days have also been a start of something new, as we are more than happy to announce the return of our original guitarist Jarkko Lahtinen as a permanent member of Sadistik Forest. His playing last weekend did surely lift things to another level completely and we simply cannot wait for YOU to hear his input as well.

"Due to hectic schedules of a professional musician Matti Salo could not find time to contribute to Sadistik Forest any longer and with mutual agreement we decided to part ways. Matti will always be a brother and we wish him nothing but the best. These past nine years have been great fun and the previous albums of ours will always be our mutual legacy.
