Turilli / Lione Rhapsody - Release Lyric Video For Second New Single

Turilli / Lione Rhapsody have launched their second single "D.N.A. (Demon and Angel)" featuring Elize Ryd, taken from their upcoming album Zero Gravity (Rebirth And Evolution), which is gonna be released on July 5th through Nuclear Blast Records.

Fabio Lione comments: "While our first single "Phoenix Rising" mainly represented a bridge connecting our artistic past and future, with "D.N.A. (Demon And Angel)" we intend to show the modern side of our new band, presenting a song based on heavy guitars, electronic synths and featuring as special guest Elize Ryd of Amaranthe. We all love Elize's wonderful voice and we immediately thought of her for the duet of this song!"

Guitarist/keyboardist Luca Turilli adds: "Lyrically, "D.N.A. (Demon And Angel)" investigates the deepest inner nature of the human being in accordance with some of the most revolutionary studies related with psychoanalysis, focusing on the 'shadow archetype' and its relation with the 'psychological projection' based on which we tend to see in the other people that dark side we are not able to accept as being part of ourselves. The 'mirror' of Carl Gustav Jung doesn't reflect any illusion and it simply reveals the only way for someone to evolve is based on the fundamental acceptance of his dark side, first step to become conscious of the own shadow, being able to control it and finally transform it into a sparkle of light."

Can someone please send this man a D&D boardgame or something before he goes full Hideo Kojima XD
The song is quite okay though, I actually really enjoy Elize on this one..definitely off of her better collaboration as of late.
I do wonder if Luca uses the same top 10 collaboration list as the rest, if my calculations are correct the next one should be eather Alissa White-Gluz or Hansi Kürsch.

Like I already posted in this album's thread, the band shouldn't be regarded as another Rhapsody. Luca and Fabio both wanted to ditch the name Rhapsody alltogether, and the title of this album, Zero Gravity, was supposed to be the name of the band. Nuclear Blast didn't allowed it...

Luca said it in this interview if anyone is interested:

This song is not really my cup of tea, but maybe because I'm hearing it "from Rhapsody", and it certainly is not. Elise has a great voice and Fabio, well, is Fabio, one of the best vocalists in the world (imo).
