Yes please! Really hope this isn't another double album though. Immortals was good but I didn't really feel like it needed to be two albums.

I definitely get a concept album vibe here. Not that that's surprising or unwelcome mind you.

Unfortunately for you it is a double album (no complaints from me about that). Their site informed of that way back in February:
"Vp proudly announces the release of the first part of the double album: ?the Ghost Xperiment" - ?AwakeIng"‪"
and
"? Second part - ?Illumination" is already in work - coming soon ?"

Bleh. Maybe i'll just buy both albums at the same time and listen to them back-to-back. My issue with double albums really is that I listen to the first album and enjoy the fuck out of it and then the second one gets released a few months later and by then i've had my fill of the band for awhile so I don't buy it until years later. By then I can't stop comparing it to the first one and almost never enjoy it as much as the first one. It's probably a silly complaint to most people, but I just never enjoy album sequels as much as the first.

I see your point. But to me it's not an issue cause I believe a good album will be enjoyable to a certain extent. The last VP album wasn't that good in my opinion.

I feel the same way, at least to an extent. Looking at the last two albums, I kinda wish they had been released at the same time. The fact that they're doing this again bothers me a little. I know I'm gonna have a hard time not listening to part 1 once it's out.

Does six songs mean longer tracks? I do not know if VP can deliver on that, but then again I do love a surprise, hopefully.
