Amorphis - 'My Kantele' Acoustic Version Streaming Online
Amorphis are currently located in Genelec Artist Room and are working on some acoustic versions of their songs, taken out of their discography. In the video below, you can check out the band's performance at the aforementioned studio and listen to the song ''My Kantele'', originally released on Elegy album in 1996.
Statement from General Music Channel: "Over the last year, Amorphis have been touring the world in support of their 2018 album Queen Of Time - the first record to feature all four original band members since their 1994 breakthrough album Tales From The Thousand Lakes.
"Nevertheless, they took a break between sold-out shows to visit us in the Genelec Artist Room, delivering three exclusive performances, all powered by Genelec 1234 and 8351 studio monitors."

Odd choice considering the first acoustic version already nailed the atmosphere and essence of that track. It sort of makes me miss the old days of Pasi K. For instance none of the re-recorded tracks that appeared on the compilation a few years ago were as good as the originals. I'd love to hear some acoustic versions of Toni Joutsen era tracks, perhaps like 'Silent Waters' and 'House of Sleep'.
