After some time of silence regarding the work on new music, Canada-based extreme doomsters Norilsk share an upadate. You can read out the full statement from the band's frontman Nicolas Miquelon down below.

Frontman Nicolas Miquelon share a comment: "Nic's here. Things have been relatively quiet on the Norilsk front since our last show in May. Life and work has kept us very busy, among other things. Nick and I have started recording a first Damnus album (our pre- Norilsk band), while Tom and Matt have been busy with their death metal band Fumigation. In the meantime, my computer crashed and I lost everything, including all new Norilsk material which I wasn't able to recover (I lost my backup too); this means it will likely take more time than expected to write a new full length album. On a positive note, we recorded two badass songs last spring, which we don't have a format nor a release date yet. We'll give it more thoughts in the upcoming months as we finish the mixing and mastering. In the meantime, we're still open for business if promoters contact us and want to book us outside of Ottawa, Fall 2019 / Spring 2020. Enjoy your summer everyone!"
