Mavradoxa - Disbanded
Just month after the release of their latest opus, Nightmarrow, US atmospheric black metallers Mavradoxa have decided to call it quits. The band was formed in 2015, and released three full-length albums.
Statement from the band: "It is with the heaviest of hearts that we must herald the news that Mavradoxa is no more. It is far from a simple decision to make, but sometimes change is necessary and we must embrace it. The band wishes to extend our deepest respect and gratitude to each and every person who has supported us in any capacity over the last four years. Our experiences writing, recording, traveling, meeting rad people, and visiting new and exciting places have been singularly life-changing to say the least. Without you, it would all be for nothing. Although the band has come to an end, we remain endlessly grateful to anyone whom our music has resonated with over the years, and we will all continue to pour our heart and soul into our future endeavors."
