Anathema - 'We're Here Because We're Here' Anniversary Tour Announced

Anathema are pleased to announce a string of tour dates in March 2020, celebrating the 10th anniversary of the album We're Here Because We're Here. A 16-date run will kick off in Glasgow on March 6th, and will also include appearance at Prognosis Festival in Eindhoven, The Netherlands.

Daniel Cavanagh: "We never usually do anniversary tours of particular albums, but in the case of WHBWH, which is the album that began our rebirth, we feel this is something we want to do. What I love about this album and that time in our journey is the life affirming qualities in the music. It's an album of hope, reflection, of summer, of an intense uplifting emotion."

Not exactly the album of theirs I'd wanna see most in full. Last time I saw them, other than "Fragile Dreams", they only played songs from their 2010 era.

I wonder, since they formed in 1990, why don't they celebrate 30 years of Anathema and play songs from all periods of their career (wonder if they can though?!, too much wondering ). That would be cool and most fans would be pleased I guess. No?

I'd happily pay a ticket to see them play "Fragile Dreams" on a loop for 90 minutes but We're Here Because We're Here? No.
