Igorrr - Announce New Album, Reveal Title And Cover Art

Fresh and exciting news are coming from the Igorrr camp. French experimental one-man project has confirmed the release of the new full-length offering, to be entitled Spirituality And Distortion. The album wiill see the light sometime in 2020 via Metal Blade Records. Check out the cover artwork below. Stay tuned for more info and details.

Gautier Serre, the man behind the Igorrr project: "This album has been a real hell to create and produce, I'm more than happy to be soon able to share it with you. This is for now, at least the cover, made by Førtifem. This album is the result of a really intensive work that has been made on a long time period to deliver the most honest and non-compromising music possible, I hope you will enjoy the music as much as I do now when I'm listening to this album. More info will be given soon, and in a couple of weeks, I think we gonna upload a first track."

The last record, although I absolutely loved it at first, was actually kind of a step down for Igorrr, and not as good as the last three albums. I like this cover art a lot more than Savage Sinusoid, so hopefully the music is better as well.

The lack of electronic and classical music in his last album was a major blow for me. It seems he wants to turn his project into a metal band now, so I'm not dying in anticipation for this one.

Artwork has echoes of the religious worship of Hallelujah, so praise the sun, it's going to be good.

Worthy of introducing 'comment of the year' award on the upcoming MSAs.

Considering the album is called spirituality and distortion and the cover art is that of a religious gathering in front of a Mosque, anyone of you think that Igorrr will mix religious hymns from different parts of the world while giving it a little bit of Igorr twist? I for one will be very very interested if something of that sort happens.
