So, apparently the AFL had to pay a fee to Warner Bros because the new AFL team will be called the Tasmanian Devils, just because WB thinks they own global copyright to the name of an animal

So... from Disney to New age. Well played, Tuomas. About 30 years too late, but well played.
On a serious side, I don't care if it's heavy enough or not, but I just wish for Tuomas to regain his creative spirit. For me it can be non metal at all, but I just hope for a perfectly written compositions, as it used to be.
This is lame song tittles, seems all it might be wrong direction some weird, we need wait new single, but such CD2 I am so skeptic, I dont know, really I ahve bad feeling to this one

Very interesting. Their second album with Annette changed my mind about her as Nightwish's singer, maybe this album will do the same for Floor... great singer, but I just wasn't feeling her voice much on the last album.
They held listening session yesterday for media. Here's article from Inferno website:

Google translate to the rescue, since it's in finnish. I ended up really loving previous album, while i thought it left some room for improvement. But somehow live concerts opened my eyes for some songs, that i overlooked before. There is that extra "kick", hard to explain. I guess it's also possible that I have changed myself with my musical taste over the years. Things that felt important before (especially in metal music) don't matter to me that much anymore.
I feel like this band, and Tuomas, has matured a lot over the years, and they are definately going in right direction. Endless Forms Most Beautiful was just a first step, not perfect, but solid album anyway. Seems like now they are much more confident with this current line-up with Floor, Troy and Kai Hahto.

My belt holds up my pants and my pants have belt loops that hold up the belt.
What the fuck's really goin on down there? Who is the real hero?

Thank you. Right, this definitely changes things. The main takeaways are:
-the first disc is a band record, without massive orchestras (still strings though)
-the second disc is a 35 minute (completely orchestral) instrumental work
Noise is the first single; classical singing by Floor on Shoemaker; heavier riffs from Emppu; Kai is unleashed, yadda yadda yadda...
Written by Bad English on 18.01.2020 at 14:46 who is vegan?
Latest album was killer same as opening
Even the track list on this one sounds like a tracklist for freaking vegans, but will see...
So yeah the last album was composed professionally but in a very vegan way If you see what I mean. Not saying it was so bad at all; but I listen to it like a few times only and then forgot about it.
I must have missed the memo about how Nightwish has progressed in popularity to the point where it's now cool to shit on any and every detail about them, no matter how big or small. Makes me almost (*almost*) wish we could go back to the days where the only logical debate we could have was Anette vs. Tarja, where everyone on both sides had valid critiques and opinions.
I couldn't give a shit less about what the track list names are. If it wasn't for that, surely this entire comment section would be shitting on the album cover. If not that, it would be the second disc with countless references to Insomnium. If not that, it would be Tuomas' preference of boxers or briefs. I'm looking forward to this album very much, hope to see them again and do another meet and greet when they go touring for the album, and if Anette's second album (probably my favorite of theirs) is any indication of history repeating itself, hopefully this is Floor's masterpiece album as well. Let's just hope she makes it to album 3.
Ammmm what to say.....music is good, really good, but still missing Tarja vocal, not bad overall amm actually good especially the second part
I can now definitely tell it is sounds like Nighwish, not like some Nighwish-like generic band like they did a couple of times like songs in Dark Passion Play and Endless Forms Most Beautiful.
