Cradle Of Filth - Start Tracking New Studio Record


Cradle Of Filth have started the recording process of their new studio record, the follow-up to 2017's Cryptoriana: The Seductiveness Of Decay. Drummer Martin "Marthus" ?karoupka is the first one who has entered the studio to record his part.

Despite the fact that CoF after Midian hasn't released an album at the same level of those which predecessed it (even though I really like most of them), this is a band I'm still hyped to hear new music from.
For this album I'd love to see them getting back to that abrasive sound they had on the Vempire ep. It's still, for me, their most aggressive material to date.

I think that is one of the finest EPs ever recorded. Doubtful that this album will reach anywhere close to that, but if its along the lines of the previous 2 albums, Ill be happy enough.

Their new stuff is actually what got me into them. Hammer of the Witches was a near masterpiece, IMO, best CoF album hands down. I find all of their stuff to be pretty enjoyable, though.
