Sacred Reich - Founding Guitarist Dead At Age 53
Arizona thrashers Sacred Reich have confirmed on their Facebook page that their founding member and guitarist Jason Rainey has passed away at the age of 53 from an apparent heart attack. Due to medical issues in recent years, Jason had to part ways with the band about year ago.
This is what band have to say: "It is with deep sadness and broken hearts that we must announce that our friend, guitarist and founding member of Sacred Reich, Jason Rainey has passed away.
"Jason started the band after only playing guitar for six months. With sheer determination and will, he lead us through the early years of the band. He worked tirelessly. Sacred Reich was his life. In recent years he faced some serious medical issues. He ultimately succumbed to a heart attack on Monday, March 16. He was 53 years old.
"Jason, we wish you peace and love."

I lost my mum at 60 on 25th Dec 2019 due to cardiac arrest(2 times in 24 hr interval) as she was suffering long from cirrhosis. Last 3 yrs was a bit of a stretch as she started secluding doing everything for us whatever she could being completely bed-ridden, but tell you fucking honestly, man - she could have given up at any point of time. She wanted to live for us, but she was agitated fighting her medications. One of the strongest lady I ever saw and when she passed away, we didn't crash down knowing she gone on her terms. She achieved everything in life she wanted. In no fucking way, she could have lived any longer. As beautifully said by Honest Abe, "In the end, it's not the years in your life that count. It's the life in your years".
