Danish Metal Awards - And The Winners Are...
The Danish Metal Awards 2006 were held yesterday (November 18th) in Copenhagen, Denmark at Amager Bio. The winners were as follows:
The Honor Award was handed out to the legendary Mercyful Fate. - original members Michael Denner (guitar), Hank Shermann (guitar), Timi "Grabber" Hansen (bass) and Kim Ruzz (drums) appeared in public together for the first time in 22 years to accept the award. Vocalist King Diamond was unable to attend the ceremony.

i have not heard of the majority of those bands. meh....the Danish Metal scene is pitiful anyways

@danzig111: no it's not. It's just not so big and well known. Big disapointment not to see Wuthering Heights or Manticora in the list  Volbeat and Raunchy are quite good

Not Hatesphere and Wuthering Heights? grrrr....  Mercenary and Submission are quite good but I'm a little disappointed

Manticora could have been on that list, yeah, but well, they're not, too bad. Mercenary deserves their award anyway. ...not sure about Satyricon, though. oO Too bad about King Diamond not attending. ...the Merciful Fate guys really deserves that award.
