Powerwolf - Stream New Version Of 'Werewolves Of Armenia'

Germans Powerwolf have released a video for the brand new version of their classic, "Werewolves Of Armenia". The song is part of the Bible Of The Beast studio album, released back in 2009.

"We are proud to share this newly recorded version of "Werewolves Of Armenia" with you all. "Werewolves Of Armenia" has become one of the most popular songs in our live shows ever since its release on Bible Of The Beast in 2009," comments the band. "Over the years we have slightly developed the song further and further in countless live shows, and this new version, to us, has this extra kick and power this song gained over the years. It feels pretty close to how this song works in the live situation with all of you singing and partying along. Hope this new version can give you all some wolfish power in these hard times!"

Little extra chorus here and there, otherwise no different, cover would be better and more meaningful

Can someone, please, tell me what this song is actually about? I have been wondering for years but I can't find any information online.

Really welcome fresh version of one of the best songs in their catalog. The art in the video is also great, props to the artist.

Reminds me of when Sonata Arctica re did Ecliptica. So close to the original it wasn't worth the bother. If the original had been recorded 40 years ago then I would understand, not just 10.

Sounds great, but so did the first.
So when do the zombies arrive?
