Eremit - Unleash New Track From Upcoming EP
On July 17th, German sludge/doom metal trio Eremit will put out a brand new 2-track EP, Desert Of Ghouls. It will be released on various formats through Transcending Obscurity Records (pre-orders). In addition to all unveiled details, give a listen to the first streaming track - "Beheading The Innumerous".
Eremit's statement: "Fellow Pilgrim, two new chapters of our saga will be released as a special 10-inch EP by our label Transcending Obscurity Records. Pre-Orders for this second sonic release of ours are up now. Desert Of Ghouls is available on CD and Vinyl and there are again limited editions of both formats housed in a special box including exclusive items. These boxes have a different cover design and are including, among other things, a hand-signed certificate.
"The EP encompasses the sixth and seventh chapters of the first cycle of the first epos of our mythological saga. So this EP is not directly taking up where our debut record ended. This is more like a bloody vision into the future of the hermit in which he is trapped in a vast, harsh and foreign landscape. The missing chapters four and five will be unveiled on our second full length record to be released after this EP. As all our music, all our creation, these two releases are interlinked.
"The cover illustration has been done by Brandon Holt. If you want to fully understand who this character is you are seeing on the cover you shall dive into the lyrics of this release. The full underlying mythology will be unveiled in a second Pamphlet which will be released alongside Eremit II."
