Power Trip vocalist Riley Gale passed away last night at the age of 35. The band revealed the news in a statement on their Facebook page, which can be read below.

It's been a very shitty year and I guess we are prepared for anything, but this is some really terrible news. So young and so talented, this news saddened me so much. I only recently wrote in a review that Power Trip is the single thrash band worthy of attention (along with Vektor) that has emerged in this millennium. R.I.P. Riley, you will definitely be missed but your music will live on forever.
