Those are some good nominations for the best metal performance, but considering the ignorance of the people at the Grammy Awards, it's likely that they'll give the award to Stone Sour.

Good nominations in the best metal performance hopefully it goes to Mastodon because they deserve it most out of all of those bands. Though I doubt it as Insineratehymn said it will probably go to Stone Sour.

The other bands in the Swedish awards are so crappy, it's Come Clarity, Hammerfall... bah.
Last year, Opeth was nominated. But of course they didn't won.

Why the hell was Stone SOur nominated in the best metal performance? They are just plain standrad radio rock. Nothing vaguely remotely metal about them. Probably nominated due to the Slipknot connections.
But other than the Stone Sour nomination I have absolutely no problems with either the metal or hard rock categories.

    Stone Sour? Bah!
The other metal nominations are good, but the ignorance of Grammiers will award Stone Sour, though the other ones can sweep Stone Sour away!

Actually I wouldn't be surprised if Lamb of God or Slayer won that, though I think that's a crappy Slayer song so I'd vote for Mastodon. Curious to find Wolfmother there, I hope they demolish the Americans. But they won't...
