Disturbed - Working On New Music

Disturbed are currently working on the follow-up to 2018's Evolution, which frontman David Draiman describes as "blisteringly angry". It will be the band's third album since they ended their four-year hiatus back in 2015.

Speaking to Loudwire, Draiman stated: "I can pretty much guarantee you it's going to be blisteringly angry. It's coming, don't worry."

While the band's latest output was their cover of Sting's "If I Ever Lose My Faith In You", Draiman hinted that the new record will not include a song cover: "It was fun, I love doing that kind of stuff. And we'll do it again at some point, but I'll tell you - the thing I am dying to do is not a cover. I'm dying to sink my teeth into some new, original, angry, ferocious, brutal material. I've had enough."

I hated Immortalized and didn't particularly like Evolution which is a great shame because Disturbed is one of the first metal bands I heard and got into and their pre-hiatus stuff is amazing, so I'm hoping for a comeback album..

I can't say I don't have the highest hopes for this. But if it's as blisteringly angry as he says it is, who knows I might get surprised. With so much more interesting things coming next year this really won't be on the top of my list of albums to rush too. Half of me wants to say I've grown out of them even though I still like listening to a little bit of Godsmack every now and then. tehe
