Although it's hard to remove the sour taste Tate left with his actions and the material he came up with during his last years with Queensryche, this is some top-notch metal (although lyrics are just a little cheesy). He is also sounding better than he has in years, thanks to Simone Mularoni pushing him to sound more like he did in his "metal years" as opposed to listening to his nut-job of a wife.

I read some place that Simone Mularoni isn't involved with this second album.
