Metal Blade Records announced that has just signed a worldwide deal with Hate Eternal.

Metal Blade Records owner/CEO, Brian Slagel, had this comment:
"I am truly honored to be working with Hate Eternal. They are a legendary band and I am so happy to welcome them to the Metal Blade Family." - Brian Slagel

Hate Eternal guitarist, Erik Rutan, had this to say regarding their signing:
"Signing to Metal Blade for us reconfirms that all the hard work, blood, sweat and tears we have put into the band has been worth every single moment. This is completely amazing. We know we will forge on with all the support and confidence a band can ask for from their record label. We are proud to be a part of the hugely successful Metal Blade Family and look forward to bringing our music to the next level." - Erik Rutan

Hate Eternal is currently in the writing process for the follow-up to their 2005 release "I, Monarch" that shall be recorded at Rutan's own Mana Recording Studios in June/July 2007.

agree... they use to be faster not that long ago...but i think its cause the mods are busy these days ...

and about Hate Eternal... Metalblade got them selves a great band added to their metal empire...
Dangerboner - 28.01.2007 at 00:53
Actually, I take back what I said. I hope Tim Yeung rejoins them because Hate Eternal is more his style.

Ah yes, Brian Slagel is a wise man for signing Hate Eternal. Now I just have to wait for a new album to be released by them.

Good, but who were they signed with before?

@pyro - either Kevin or Tim would be just excellent. Would anybody else be in the running for the position?
Dangerboner - 28.01.2007 at 08:13
Well, I'm pretty sure that Kevin Talley is their closest link right now because he recently played with them live. However, he seems pretty busy with his Daath project right now, and Tim Yeung doesn't seem to be doing anything, so I dunno.
Xtreme Jax - 29.01.2007 at 06:10
Mmm either of the two i'd be happy with.

You do are aware of the fact that not only normal members but also people who tend to know it all and know it all better and faster - wellwhatdoyouknow, like you e.g. - can easily share their almighty wisdom by sending in news themselves, do you?
So, maybe less simplistic criticism and more contributing my friend. After all; the best horseman is always on his feet, isn't he... ;[

Besides "old" news is still news and nonetheless better than no news, no?

The same (but no longer sarcastic) goes to you, Mister lordz. Feel free to give us news more rugularly, and we promise to deal with it asap!
But do realize and respect that not every staff member has the time to be fully occupied with the (news) edits.

wow i didn't have to read an essay, all i said they received some news slow, obviously it's better than no news. it would be cooler if they posted it up faster (i know people have other things to do duh) i know you wouldn't like if the news channel told you it was going to snow today if it already snowing.

Changing labels doesnt make difference in music isn't it? Hope the band will release great albums like they did before.
