03:36 - !J.O.O.E.! I'd have been fine with that if the violence wasn't sandwiched between Tilder Swinton's comical Yorkshire accented dialogue. It didn't work and just seemed to confuse what the film wanted to be, and why it semi-failed in my eyes.
03:34 - Darth Satanious I see none of the things you say about Snowpiercer as flaws. If anything, I would have liked the violence to be less stylised and more raw, like normal people killing each other. But of course soldiers are meant toknow their shit.
03:14 - !J.O.O.E.! Although actually it did have a fair amount of humour, so that mix of the two really fucked with the balance.
03:12 - !J.O.O.E.! The focus on violence basically; should have been less of that. The film was weird and I think a little humour in its place would have helped it not seem as OTT to the point where it wasn't credible.
03:09 - Jaeryd17 Wait, what are you saying should have happened? And yeah, it was a decent movie.
03:06 - !J.O.O.E.! Just watched Snowpiercer. I enjoyed but I think they missed an opportunity there which was basically overridden by being overly brutal. If it had been a bit lighter it would have justified the overly far-fetched nature of it.
01:36 - Ilham Bon appétit, thanks for that rec again :).
There will be another work released in 2007.
Almost 100% of the music is written and now it is time to start writing the lyrics.
This time it won't be a conceptual album. Music is more fresh and up-to-date, less epic but more solid and powerfull. I've been in contact with a couple of musicians for the vocals and drums and I hope to start recording in spring so the album may be ready at the end of spring or summer.
There won't be so many singers as in the first album because I'd like to have fix members so Soulitude can became also a live band and not only studio project.
Cover artwork is going to be done again by Xabier Amezaga, that is also the webmaster of this site.
