Alternative/nu metal legends Mudvayne - who were reformed last year after more than a decade out of the spotlight - haven't released a full-length studio album since their 2009 self-titled fifth album. But the band is just about to change that, as frontman Chad Gray stated in a recent interview with Avenged Sevenfold bassist Johnny Christ via his 'Drinks With Johnny' podcast that he hopes Mudvayne will start working on new music very soon.

Gray said: "I'm really excited to hear [Avenged Sevenfold's] new shit and Mudvayne is hopefully going to be working on some new shit soon, too. So awesome. I can't wait to definitely get our heads together. Maybe we could do some do some touring or something someday."
