I'm sooooooo not expecting anything awesome from this. 4 albums in 4 years is too rapid I think. If they keep this up, then the album of 2009 will most definately suck, because they will run out of ideas.
EDIT: suck for people who don't like the same-old-same-old music. |

| Everything after Voices of Wilderness was mediocre already. Unless they start taking some time to think of something better than always the same formula I don't see too much potential left in this band. |

Potential? I see a huge potential in the Korpiklaani band, especially if you have also heard them as "Shaman". I enjoyed their first three works, but the last one was a huge let down, the production and quality of the tracks seemed, to me rushed. But i see potential and passion, plus Korpiklaani is one of the bands that has helped form the folk/metal scene. If they return to the style of their latter works, i believe it woulds work, but continuing the style of their new album seems fruitless. |
